Terms and Conditions – Vintage Clothing
1. General Information This website https://www.cotushop.com/ is operated by COTU CITIZENS OF THE UNIVERSE. By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Scope These Terms and Conditions govern the online sale of vintage and second-hand clothing through the website cotushop.com.
3. Nature of the Products All items sold are vintage, pre-owned, or collectible garments and are not new. Due to their nature, items may show signs of wear, minor imperfections, or variations in fabric and color, which are considered part of the product’s character and value. Any significant defects are disclosed in the product description or shown in photographs.
4. Sizes and Fit Sizes refer to the original garment labels or are estimated based on measurements. Vintage clothing may fit differently from modern sizing standards; customers are therefore encouraged to carefully review the measurements provided. The seller is not responsible for fit issues due to subjective interpretation.
5. Images and Descriptions Product images are intended to represent the items as accurately as possible. However, slight color variations may occur due to lighting conditions or screen settings.
6. Prices and Availability All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include VAT, where applicable. Shipping costs are shown separately before order confirmation. Most items are one-of-a-kind, and availability may change without notice.
7. Order Process An order is considered confirmed once the customer receives an order confirmation email. The seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in the event of product unavailability or obvious pricing errors.
8. Payment Methods Accepted payment methods include: Credit/Debit Card PayPal Bank Transfer Wise. Payment must be completed in full prior to shipment.
9. Shipping Orders are shipped within 5 business days after payment confirmation. Delivery times are estimates only. The seller is not responsible for delays caused by the courier.
10. Right of Withdrawal / Returns Customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the item only if the item differs from the photos published on the website, if it is damaged, or if the item's measurements are different. Returned items must be in the same condition in which they were received, unwashed, unaltered, or damaged, with the original tags attached, if applicable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
11. Legal Warranty Second-hand goods are covered by the legal warranty of conformity within the limits established by applicable law. Wear, aging, or characteristics disclosed in the product description are not considered defects.
12. Liability The seller shall not be held liable for damages resulting from improper use of purchased items or for allergic reactions to materials unknown or undisclosed by the customer.
13. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Where applicable, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the consumer’s place of residence.
